Harinam is a mass street crowd of Hare Krishnas , during which they chant their "hare Krishnas" and "hare frames."

Harinamas are held in all cities where there are communities of Hare Krishnas, and are accompanied by dancing and unrestrained merriment . For Krishnaites, such joint Krishna chanting - the ceremony is important and obligatory, since the loud glorification of Krishna is one of the main commandments of the Hare Krishnas.
